Langley blanks Brookswood

Langley Secondary players go for the big win 6-0 against Brookswood.

It was a battle for Langley on the pitch last week, with Langley Secondary taking it to Brookswood.

“Our boys played very well today and I have been very impressed with their skill and passion for the game,” Langley Secondary School Senior Boys soccer coach Angelo Pulice said following a 6-0 victory over Brookswood in a AA Langley division Fraser Valley High School soccer game at Mcleod athletic park Oct. 11.

“(It’s) a real pleasure to coach such a talented and nice group of young men,” Pulice added.

Goal scorers were Meeka Gay with three, Eh Taw Taw with two goals and Joseph Byun with one goal.

The latest standings in the five-team Langley AA division have Aldergrove first, followed by Brookswood, Langley Christian, Langley Fundamental and LSS.
