Langley Fundamental sends two boys soccer teams to Fraser Valley title games

Titans Grade 8/9s and seniors going for gold Thursday afternoon

A pair of Langley Fundamental Secondary School boys soccer teams will be going for gold at Coquitlam Town Centre on Thursday afternoon.

The Grade 8/9 Titans defeated Brookswood 4-1 in the Valley semifinal, held Nov. 6 at Willoughby Turf field.

The win puts the Titans into the Fraser Valley gold medal game against Fleetwood Park Dragons, who edged Sullivan Heights 2-1 in penalty kicks in their semifinal match-up.

The gold medal game between the Titans and Dragons kicks off at 2 p.m. on Nov. 9 at Coquitlam Town Centre.

Also playing for Fraser Valley AA gold is the Titans’ senior boys squad, which will take on North Delta at the same time, same place as the Grade 8/9 title game.
