A quartet of Langley runners lead a strong contingent who make up Team B.C. for the 2014 Canadian cross-country championships.
The race will be held at Vancouver’s Jericho Beach Park on Nov. 29.
Taylor Janzen, a first-year runner with the Trinity Western Spartans and 2014 Langley Fundamental graduate, is competing in the junior women’s division.
And on the junior men’s side Adam Marshall, Tyler De Jong and Nickolas Colyn are on the roster.
Marshall and De Jong — both Brookswood graduates — are first-year runners with Trinity Western. Colyn is a Grade 12 student at Langley Christian.
And Spartan runners Alison Jackson and Fiona Benson are on the B.C. senior women’s squad while Joel Deschiffart, Declan White and Blair Johnston are on the senior men’s squad.
Spartans coach Mark Bomba is serving as the youth boys’ coach.
