The Trinity Western University’s women’s volleyball team earned its third win in as many days at the Queen’s Invitational in Kingston, Ont., taking the tournament title after beating New Brunswick in three straight sets Sunday. Scores were 25-19, 25-15, 25-7.
The Spartans finished off their dominant showing at the Queen’s Invitational with their third straight 3-0 victory, defeating the Varsity Reds in convincing fashion.
Sophie Carpentier led the way for the Spartans, finishing with 12 kills, nine digs and an ace.
The Spartans ran the table over their three games while never losing a single set.
Their final set of the weekend, a 25-7 clinching mark, was their best margin of victory over the three days.
