The Victoria Wolves almost pulled off a major comeback Monday in Nanaimo, but fell 12-10 in West Coast Senior (B) Lacrosse Association play.
The Wolves (5-6-0-1) trailed 10-5 after two periods and outscored the Timbermen 5-2 in the third before running out of time. Adam Brown led Victoria with three goals and three assists; Graeme Brown and Max Fredrickson had two goals each, while singles came from Andrew McMillan, Colin Bell and Sam Tschritter.
After travelling to Langley for a road game on Saturday (July 9), Victoria hosts the Valley Rebels at The Q Centre on Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
