Reid Wilson and Kaleb Comishin each scored twice as the Nelson Leafs beat the Rebels 5-2 on Saturday in Castlegar.
Lane Goodwin also scored for the Leafs (16-6-3), who snapped a three-game losing streak. Anderson Violette meanwhile made 23 saves.
Colby Chavez Leech and Tyren Grimsdale replied for the Rebels (6-13-4), who are on an eight-game slide. Castlegar goaltender Dawson Rattai allowed all five goals on 27 shots.
Leech opened the scoring with a power-play goal just over two minutes into the game. But the Leafs responded with two goals from Wilson and Comishin less than a minute later, and Nelson never trailed again.
Nelson next visits the Golden Rockets on Friday before facing the Columbia Valley Rockies in Invermere on Saturday.
