A four-point night from Quinncy Leroux sent the Aldergrove Kodiaks to their eighth victory in the past 10 games.
The Kodiaks defeated the Ridge Meadows Flames 4-1 on Monday (Dec. 29) night in PJHL junior B hockey action at the Aldergrove Arena.
The Flames opened the scoring on a bizarre goal from centre, ice, but that would be the only puck to elude Ben Giesbrecht.
After that, the Kodiaks power play took over, scoring four times with the man advantage.
Leroux scored twice and set up two other goals while Eric Callegari and Brandon Dolby had the other Kodiak markers as the team improved to 15-9-2-5. With 37 points, Aldergrove leads the Harold Brittain Conference by three points.
The Kodiaks are back in action on Jan. 4 when they visit the Grandview Steelers.
