High stakes basketball action starts tonight in Kitimat with the first games of the Kitimat Open Basketball Tournament.
The tournament, which runs until Sunday evening with the finals taking place at 7.30 p.m., features 12 men’s teams and eight women’s teams from across the province.
The first games of the tournament see the Haisla Intermediates coming up against Terrace Highflyers at 6 p.m. at the Haisla Rec Centre and the Haisla Warriors coming up against Gitanyow at Mount Elizabeth Secondary at 7.30 p.m.
