Five members of the Quesnel River Archers brought their sharp shooting skills to Williams Lake for the annual Cariboo Archers Flatfield 3D shoot this weekend (May 4-5).

Lora-Lee Murray, who placed first in Ladies Barebow, says the Quesnel contingent had a great time letting arrows fly in the outdoors.

“The shoot was fantastic,” she says. “The weather was perfect, and sunny skies always make for a wonderful shoot.”

She adds the event had two courses, so there was a nice amount of variety for the archers.

Her teammates fared quite well too, with four out of the five placing within the top three.

At the shoot, Becca Nazaruk won the Ladies Fixed Pins category, Spencer Gamache and Jarrat Nazaruk placed first and second, respectively, in Men’s Open, and Stu Murray placed fifth in Masters Men’s Barebow.
