They did it with offence in game one, scoring seven goals, but game two was all about the defence for the Aldergrove Kodiaks.
Jordan Liem stopped all 26 shots he faced as the Kodiaks shut-out the Abbotsford Pilots 2-0 in game two of their best-of-seven Pacific Junior Hockey League series on March 5 at the Aldergrove Arena.
Game one, which featured four power-play goals, was the night before.
Spencer McHaffie opened the scoring 10:55 into the game and Stephen Ryan — on the power play — doubled the lead in the second.
The series now shifts to Abbotsford’s MSA Arena for games three and four on March 7 and 8.
