You can now see at night on the Barriere Skating Rink thanks to several volunteers; Gilbert Smith Forest Products and Dan Doyle donated the lights, and Shawn Simmerman did the installation with his lift truck. Everyone involved with the rink wishes to thank these people for their generous support to improve the facility that is used by many area residents, children and young people. If you find the rink to be locked, it is because it is being flooded, but otherwise it is open all the time.
