Lincoln Laners bound for B.C.s

A four-pack of Lincoln Lanes youth bowlers have qualified for YBC provincials in Abbotsford and Chilliwack in March.

Lincoln Lanes competed against athletes from Kamloops, Princeton, Kelowna and Chase in zone finals last weekend at Falcon Lanes in Kamloops. The singles tournament followed a five-game scratch format, with the top bowler from each division advancing to B.C.s.

Keith Hoggard topped the senior boys division with a five-game 1,141 (192, 191, 244, 218, 296), while Kayli Breitkreutz ruled the senior girls class with a 1,055 (165, 224, 251, 182, 233).

In the junior boys division, Adam Fiset rolled a 920 (205, 184, 132, 129, 270) for first place.

Colby Eisenhauer took first in the bantam boys group with a 916 (180, 189, 198, 169, 180). He was followed by fellow Lincoln Laners Kohl Killingbeck (760) and Michael Hoyland (682) in second and third place, respectively.

Other Lincoln Lane bowlers earning top-five finishes include: Aryssa Matsen (553), fourth, bantam girls; Vida Chisholm (674), fourth, junior girls; Cassidi Breitkreutz (659), fifth, junior girls; Aidan Buckley (885), second, junior boys; Kaitlyn Milsted (1,002), second, senior girls; Grace Fontaine (854), fifth senior girls.
