Expected to join the Canadian Football League’s top prize will be Lions receiver Geroy Simon, centre Angus Reid and defensive back J.R. LaRose.

Simon has the second-most all-time receiving yards in the CFL with 15,087 — 66 yards behind Winnipeg Blue Bombers great Milt Stegall.

Williams Lake residents are invited to attend the Gibraltar Room from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 2 where the players will speak to the audience and will be available for autographs and photos with the Grey Cup.

Those wishing for autographs are asked to bring paper.

The Lions will be showcasing the cup they won last November by beating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 34-23 in Vancouver at the 99th Grey Cup game.

Next year’s 100th anniversary of the Grey Cup goes in Toronto.
