Lions support Barriere Secondary School athletes - new jerseys

The Barriere Secondary School senior girls team are shown proudly wearing their new basketball jerseys that were recently generously donated by the Barriere Lions Club. The Barriere Lions Club have been active members in the community for a number of years and say they take great pride in giving back to the community through many fundraisers and countless volunteer hours. Pictured above: top row (l to r) coach Seana Trimble, Kate Schilling, Paige Lampreau, Emma Yurkiw, Talyse Lyons, Nicole Huber and Alexis Hovenkamp. Bottom row (l to r) Lions members Ronald Lanoue and Norval Anderson, Nicole Stamer, Molly Lampreau, Jess Garner, and Lions members Doug Davis and Lloyd Abbey. Immediately after the picture was taken the team was on the road with the BSS senior boys and junior boys teams to attend the playoffs, Feb. 10/11. If the BSS senior teams place first or second in playoffs, they will travel to the Okanagans on Feb. 23/24/25, in the North Zone of the Okanagan (Vernon area).
