The Ice Pirates  won the tournament with a 7-0 victory over the Kootenay Avalanche in the finals. Kamloops went 2-1 in the round-robin portion of the tournament, defeating the Okanagan Lakers 6-4 and the BC lightning 6-3 and losing to the Avalanche 6-5 (after falling behind 6-5).  In the semi-finals the Ice Pirates beat the Lakers 6-3, putting them in the finals in a rematch with the Avalanche. The team is now off to Vancouver to defend their mainland tournament title from Apr. 15-17.
