Four figure skaters from the Abbotsford Skating Club are headed to the Skate Canada Western Challenge in Regina next week.
Megan Geddes and Gary Tsai are competing in the pre-novice pairs freeskate, while Tyler Miller and Alex Linden are entered in the novice pair dance. The Skate Canada Western Challenge is the nationals for the freeskate team, while the dancers will advance to nationals if they place.
The local figure skating club recently competed in the Jingle Blades event in White Rock. The results are as follows:
