Local team is ready for the race track

Clearwater resident Bob Mear and his race team have been working hard on their newly purchased race over the long winter

Clearwater resident Bob Mear and his race team have been working hard on their newly purchased race over the long winter. The first practice day was on April 30 in Vernon and the team was looking forward to it. Mear and his team hope to compete in two different series this season: Arca West and WCSS.

The Arca West race schedule is: May 7, Vernon; May 29, Williams Lake; June 18, Prince George; July 16, Quesnel; Aug. 6, Agassiz; and Sept. 10, Vernon.

The WCSS schedule is: June 4, Vernon; July 2, Vernon; Aug. 13, Vernon; and Sept. 24, Vernon.
