The Qualicum Beach Lawn Bowling Club held their second indoor tournament of the winter season this past weekend, with plenty of competition to go around.
Players from Nanaimo, Parksville and Qualicum Beach all enjoyed the comforts of the indoor venue over the three-day tournament, which started on Friday evening and ran right on through to Sunday.
In the end, the team of Cor Poland (skip), Helena Poland and Ken Davies beat the team of Ken Welwood (skip), Carol Bucyk and Dean Thompson.
Third place went to Ken Bucyk (skip), Angie and Len Betham, as they beat out the team of John Eyre (skip), Helen Roberts and Jim MacDonald.
