L.V. Rogers girls field hockey team will be on their way to Oliver next week to compete in the 2014 AA Field Hockey Provincial Championships. Winning the Kootenay Zone Championship on October 23 guaranteed them a berth to the provincials.
Coach Val Gibson said the team is going into the tournament ranked 7th of 12 teams and are in a pool with all private schools.

#6 Rockridge, West Vancouver
#7 L.V. Rogers, Nelson
#12 Glenlyon Norfolk School, Victoria
South Okanagan Secondary School is the host of this year’s tournament that runs November 6 to 8.
