With a round of golf and a banquet, the March Meadows Senior Men have wrapped up another fun-filled golf season in Honeymoon Bay.

“We had a good year, and the barrel was only won one time,” captain Jug Kalar said.

The barrel was won August 2 by Clark Ferguson. The barrel was set up in honour of local golfer Ron Gerard, who died last year. For one dollar, senior men can take a shot at the barrel, located at hole 5 1/2. Half of the pot goes to the winner, and the other half goes to the grounds crew.
