The Re/Max Ocean Pacific AAA Tier 2 CVBA Mosquito Cardinals have had a great Rep season of baseball and are off to Cloverdale on Aug. 2 for the opening ceremonies of the provincial championships, which run until Aug. 5

The Cards’ exhibition game schedule consisted of 22 games –  four single games and nine doubleheaders. Led by head coach Steve McNamee, the team met three times a week to practise on top of their busy game schedule.

Coach Steve and assistant coaches Trevor Fox, Brad Smith and Jeff Pilon ran excellent practices that quickly showed results on the field come game time. The team has had a very strong season and is on a roll of late, winning their last eight games. The team would like to thank their sponsor Re/Max Ocean Pacific, CVBA umpire coordinator Craig Bernes and his team of umpires, the entire CVBA association and the parent volunteers who made it all come together.
