The Langley Mustangs defence came up big, holding the Victoria Spartans to a single field goal in a 21-3 victory.
The Mustangs bantam football team was playing at Victoria’s Westhills Stadium on Sunday in Vancouver Mainland Football League action.
The offence was led by the play of the offensive line, which delivered a strong performance that allowed the Mustangs to play a strong ball control ground game.
Azuka Okoli had a touchdown for Langley while Owen Jenkins led the defence.
