Nanaimo Secondary evens the score with Vanier basketball team

The visitors from Nanaimo District Secondary (NDSS) beat the Towhees senior boys basketball team in a Tuesday league game at Vanier. Both teams compete at the 4A level.

Nanaimo was up 33-27 at the half, but Vanier trailed by just a point (46-45) at the end of the third quarter.

Nanaimo then pulled ahead to win the game 71-56.

Vanier was without 6’8″ forward Peter Greaves on Tuesday. Earlier in the season, Vanier had beaten NDSS 73-68 in Nanaimo.
