Penticton’s Andi Naude was part of the Canadian contingent that delivered strong performances in Deer Valley, UT on Feb. 4.
Naude, a former Apex Freestyle Club member, clinched her second World Cup podium of the season, taking second. Freestyle Canada stated in a press release that it is another great performance for Naude as she establishes herself as a top contender on the Canadian team.
“I’m so happy to be on the podium tonight. It was such a great race… everyone was pushing it, and the course was really fun to ski,” said Naude during a phone interview after the race. “It was difficult, but it brought out the best in all of us.”
