The Nelson Leafs split two road games to end a busy weekend.
Nelson fell 6-3 to the Princeton Posse on Saturday before hammering the Grand Forks Border Bruins 10-4.
In Princeton, the Posse scored three goals in the first period en route to the win.
Joe Davidson, Logan MacDonald and Shawn Campbell each scored for the Leafs (22-12-6), who suffered their fourth loss in a row. Anderson Violette meanwhile gave up five goals on 43 shots.
Aubrey Macleod scored twice for the Posse (20-13-4), while Trevor Gulenchyn, Justin Fodchuk, Tyler Stinchcombe and Noah Brusse also scored. Goaltender Jaysen MacLean stopped 34 shots.
The next night, Nelson erupted for four unanswered goals to open the game against Grand Forks.
Davidson had a hat trick, Reid Wilson and Shawn Campbell both added two goals and two assists, and Lane Goodwin had a six-point game with one goal and five assists.
Adam Diotte and Brady Miller also scored, and Tenzin Mint was spectacular in net with a 50-save performance.
Elvis Slack scored twice for Grand Forks (12-25-3), which also had singles from Kyle Bailey and August Demaere.
Border Bruins goaltender Dillon Beebe allowed four goals on 12 shots before being replaced by Shane Zilka, who allowed six more on 45 shots.
The games came after Nelson fell 4-3 to the Kimberley Dynamiters in overtime Friday.
Nelson next visits the Spokane Braves on Friday.
