Kieran Bertsch, who played on the Australian pro tennis tour last year, teamed with Sara Hart-Seeton to win Sunday’s semifinal at the New Year’s Classic Tennis Tournament at Oak Bay Recreation Centre.
The pair lost the final later that day, however, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 to Bertsch’s brother, Wesley, and partner Andjela Stojkovic.
The tournament continues through Jan. 15 at the Oak Bay tennis bubble.
