The Terrace B.C. North Coast Nightmares kicked off their season with a triple header in Prince George March 25.
They lost their first game to the Fort St John Kill Billies in a hard fought battle that ended 141-102.
Then, taking on the Gold Pain City Derby Girls in the second game, the Nightmares dominated to win the game with a score of 333-27.
“Never a dull moment in roller derby,” commented player Tarea Roberge.
She added that fresh meat player Kari Morgan (Cap’n Chaos), played her first game with the team, and it was also a first for Terrace referee’s Donald Munroe (Section 28), and Darci Brousseau (Busty Bruiser).
Next up, the Nightmares compete in the Northern Exposure Tournament in Prince George April 22 to 23.
