First-place North Enderby Timber put on a possession clinic Wednesday at MacDonald Park.

The Timber blanked the Salmon Arm Outlaws 7-0 in North Okanagan Soccer League play as keeper Jesse Knight earned the one-save shutout for his second clean sheet of the season.

NET opened the scoring in the 20th minute when Adam Marwood hooked up with Finlay McPhie for some nice one-touch passing, and then McPhie sent in Brent Poulsen for the breakaway finish.

Poulsen added another minutes later on a through ball from Lucas Ross.

Colton Klein and Evan Frederick found some chemistry with Frederick setting up the rookie for two identical goals from inside the six-yard box.

La Senza man of the match Frederick added a goal on a penalty after being taken down from behind inside the area.

Andrew Stein scored the goal of the night in injury time, curling a 30-yard free kick over the wall and just under the crossbar.

Alex Gjela scored for Monashees in their 1-1 draw in Salmon Arm with Courvas.

A game scheduled in Salmon Arm between Vernon Turn-Key Controls and the Revelstoke Stallions was postponed.

The NET Celtics are hosting the Vernon Coed Tourney Aug. 6 and 7 and are looking for teams. Information can be found on vernonsoccer.ca under tournaments.
