Netminder Grady Krause stuffed a breakaway and made another fantastic save in the last 30 seconds to preserve a 4-4 draw against Kamloops #1 in their opening game.

Carly Dwornik hustled for a breakaway in the first period, and Tyler Martin accepted a great pass and scored. Strong defence came from Zack Milne, while JJ Milne scored on a breakaway.

Brayden Schwaerzle earned the win as North Okanagan brushed back Penticton 7-3 in the second tilt. Clayton Wallace was a rock on defence.
