The first NVSS race of the season took place on Saturday on the NVSA track. The NVSS racers came out well ahead of the other teams in both the 4.3 and 6.4 kilometre races. The Nechako Valley Sporting Association racetrack supported dozens of athletes all running from the same starting line.
