A 5-3 victory against the Penticton peewee Ice Dragons 2 netted the Okanagan Hockey School atom Vees the South Central division championship. There was an intense three minutes at the end of their game on March 4 as the Ice Dragons pulled their goalie and put pressure on the Vees, but the atom team defended well. Similar to the Penticton BCHL Vees, the atom Vees had been on quite a winning streak not losing since Nov. 4, 2011. The Vees defeated Westside, Penticton, Summerland and South Okanagan for the division championship.
Recently, the Vees finished second during a tournament in West Kelowna on the weekend.
