Orca event may be gruelling, but it will also be a lot of fun

The annual Orca 10K road race is just around the corner.

Slated for Sunday, May 27, the annual event he points out “is a great spring into summer fun run.”

Registration is on line at www.orcarunning.ca or day of race at the Parksville Curling Club at 9 a.m.

Proceeds for this year’s race are earmarked for Arrowsmith Search and Rescue.

Walkers are welcome, with a early start at 10:30 a.m, and all the fleet of foot will be leaving the start line at 11 a.m.

The entry fee is $20 which includes awards for the top three finishers in five-year age categories, draw prizes and event refreshment are ample.
