Meet Peninsula Panthers’ goaltender Brady Berisoff of Kelowna. The 20-year-old wears number 31 for the VIJHL junior B club and has played hockey for 14 years.
What has kept you in the sport?
The boys, the friendships, the wins and championships.
Who has been the most influential hockey player (NHL or otherwise) in your life?
Carey Price — he gets called out in the media and doesn’t let it bother him, he still plays great. He influences me to be mentally tough and play through adversity.
What has been your favourite moment as a Panther?
Winning the league championship my first year with the team (and) winning playoffs. We are the best team of 2009-10. Winning is the best feeling.
What is your best asset as a hockey player and as a person?
I am competitive and want to win. I will do anything for a teammate. My best asset as a person is I like to make people laugh.
