The North Island Peewee Eagles were on fire Sunday, Oct. 2 in preseason tiering action against the Campbell River Tyees. Kale Hunt, Kai Verbrugge, Duante McKinney, and Tye Morash all scored big goals in the 1st period, taking a 4-1 lead over the Tyees.
The Eagles kept on scoring goals in the 2nd, with Ethan Bono netting two goals back-to-back to bring their lead to 6-2.
Morash added the final nail in the coffin at 3:08 of the 3rd period, as the Eagles came away with a 7-3 home game win.
