The Pee Wee Golden Rams hosted a tournament over the weekend, a sort of preparation for the Provincial Championships that they are to attend later in the winter. The Rams played exceptionally well throughout the weekend of action. Even though their efforts were that of a gold medal performance, the team walked away proudly with the silver; the Rams were defeated in the finals by a score of 8-4. The tournament ran smoothly with the help of many businesses, parents, and locals alike. The Pee Wee Golden Rams would like to thank the following for all of their dedication to Minor Hockey in Golden and this tournament: McDonalds, Kootenay Pumping Systems, Tembec, Off the Wall, Source, Joanne Titus, the Vancouver Canucks, the Calgary Flames, and the Calgary Hitmen.
