Peewee Hurricanes Tripped Up: The Campbell River Peewee Hurricanes were tripped up 4-1 by the Peninsula Eagles on Saturday, despite this effort by a Hurricanes forward (in red). The Eagles took a 1-0 lead after 1 period and stretched their lead 3-0 after 2 periods. The eagles extended their lead to 4-0 early in the third before the hurricanes found the back of the net for their only goal scored by Julianne Nelson assisted by Sydni Rose. The Hurricanes sit at 3 wins & 4 losses on the season. Next up for the Hurricanes is a home game against Cowichan Valley Capitals Sunday at 1:15 p.m. at Strathcona Gardens’ Rink 2.
