Nelson’s Peewee Leafs rallied from a big loss to take gold at the Greater Trail Minor Hockey Association’s house tournament last weekend.
Nelson won its first two games but finished second in its division after suffering a 13-3 loss to Grand Forks in the round robin.
In the semifinals, the Leafs romped past Spokane 6-0 before downing Grand Forks 5-1 in the championship rematch Sunday.
The tournament also included teams from Trail and Summerland.
