The Ridge Meadows Peewee Mustangs

The Ridge Meadows pee wee C6 Mustangs travelled to Washington State over spring break to compete in their final hockey tournament of the season, bringing home a silver medal for their efforts.

The Mustangs were part of a trio of Canadian teams at the tourney, along with teams from Chilliwack and Vancouver.

The Mustangs dominated each of their matches in round robin play, and finished at the top of the standings going into the play-offs.

The gold medal game came down to Ridge Meadows and Vancouver, and was a battle to the finish, with Vancouver pulling out the 3-1 victory.

“It was a rough game and very well played, I’m very proud of our team” said head coach Jim Harbour. “The players battled hard, were disciplined and focused and represented our association perfectly.”

The Mustangs are Jared Messer, Brendan Seitz, Corey Surbey, Mason Harbour, Dexter Stewart, Carson Faber,  Booker Best, Tanner Anderson, Graeme Pomeroy, Carter Schollen, Cameron Irvine, Jakob Banning, Nick Voigt, and Justin Michalec.
