It was one win and one tie when the Clearwater Peewees took on 100 Mile House last weekend at the Sportsplex.
On Saturday the local squad beat 100 Mile by a score of 4-2. The following day the opposing team was ahead 3-1 until Clearwater scored two goals in the last four minutes of play to tie the game 3-3.
So far this season the Peewees have five wins, one tie and the lowest penalty minutes in their league.

“This is a great team that is improving all the time and don’t give up,” said coach Barb Coates.
The Peewees applied for the “Hockey on the Hill” contest for a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to Ottawa after Christmas for a tournament. The kids had fun putting together a 30 second video for the application but, unfortunately, they did not win.
If they had won they would have played in a temporary rink built on Parliament Hill for the event. There has been a bit of hype in the media recently about how expensive the rink has been to build and operate.
The Clearwater Peewees will host a tournament on Dec. 9/10.
