Heading into Saturday’s draw seven of World Curling Tour’s Ashley Home Store Curling Classic Penticton curler Matt Tolley’s rink has a one-win, two-loss record.
Tolley is second on Victoria’s skip Chris Baier’s rink and are taking on Japp van Dorp’s Netherland team at 3:15 p.m. Saturday

In the Baier’s opening match Friday at the Penticton Curling Club, his rink finished on the low end of an 8-3 score to the Dean Joanisse squad out of Maple Ridge.
The winners picked up a pair in each of the first, third, fourth and sixth ends to earn the win.
Baier got a single in the second and two in the fifth to account for his scoring.
In it’s second match, the Victoria rink lost by the same 8-3 margin to the Peter De Cruz rink of Switzerland.
World Curling Tour
The lone victory for Baier was in the fifth round with a 4-1 win over the Glen Jackson rink of Victoria.
At the time the Baier rink was third in the standings of Pool D behind Kevin Koe of Calgary, Alta and undefeated De Cruz.
The Niklas Edin rink of Sweden was in first in Pool A with a record of three wins, no losses, top spot in Pool B was Patric Mabergs of Sweden, also undefeated in three matches, Mike McEwen of Winnipeg, Man. was first in Pool C.
A total of 24 teams are competing in the event which wraps up with the playoff finals Monday.
