Penticton invited to skate with the Vees tomorrow night

Lace up your skates and join the players at McLaren Park Arena from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m.

Time to lace up and show the Penticton Vees what you got at the upcoming ‘Skate with the Vees’ event tomorrow at McLaren Park Arena.

From 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 2, residents are invited to join their favourite players on the ice for community skating or to play in a game of Stick ‘N Puck. Those wishing to participate in the game must have gloves and helmets, and regular admission rates for the arena apply. Similar events are scheduled for Dec. 19 and Jan. 22, with times and location to be announced closer to the events.

“The community is proud of our Penticton Vees,” said recreaton business supervisor Kelsey Johnson in a release from the city. “This is an exciting opportunity for the community to get down to ice level and meet the Vees and also for the Vees to get to meet some of their biggest supporters and fans.”
