It’s the pits, but the Penticton Vees head coach is being held captive.
Fred Harbinson, Vees president, general manager and head coach, will be locked inside The Peach concession on Okanagan Lake on Tuesday, Aug. 13, and will not be let out until the goal of 30 new season ticket memberships is reached.

Keeping him company while he is locked up will be Vees players, staff and the team mascot HarVee starting at noon.
Harbinson is are encouraging the public to come to The Peach (185 Lakeshore Dr.) while he is
“peach-tained” and meet the team and join the drive to help him escape.
