The Penticton Vees have announced that Scott Gilowski, the 17-year old from Vernon, has commited to the team for the 2019-20 season.
Gilowski has spent the last two seasons with the Okanagan Rockets in the British Columbia Major Midget League in Kelowna. He also made his BCHL debut in the first of three games with the Vees last year, on their November 17 Pink in the Rink game, where he helped the Vees take a 4-1 victory over the Victoria Grizzlies.

At 6’6″, the towering defender earned three goals and seven assists in the 40 games of his first season with the Rockets. In his second season, he added two more goals and 14 assists in 34 games. Gilowski had also played with the Okanagan Hockey Academy for his Bantam season in 2016-17, where he scored three goals and 12 assists in 25 games.
Gilowski will join his new Vees teammates for their training camp in August.
