The Langley Rivermen finished the pre-season with a perfect 4-0 record after winning a fight-filled goal-fest 9-7 against the Powell River Kings.

The two junior A hockey clubs staged their final exhibition contest on Sunday afternoon at the Langley Events Centre.

The BCHL regular season kicks off on Friday (Sept. 19) with the Bauer BCHL Showcase at Chilliwack’s Prospera Centre.

Langley also played the Surrey Eagles on Sept. 12 at South Surrey Arena, winning 3-1. In total, they outscored the opposition 28-14 over the four games.
