Revelstoke’s Kellen Viznaugh was part of the five-man Team BC that took part in the four cycling events at the Western Canada Summer Games in Wood Buffalo, Alta., from August 8–11.
In his first race, the individual time trial on Saturday, Aug. 8, Viznaugh finished 10th. He followed that up with a 14th place finish in the road race on Sunday.
He came in 16th in Monday’s cross-country eliminator, before finishing ninth in the cross-country mountain bike race on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
His results placed him ninth overall out of 22 cyclists at the games, and third amongst the B.C. contingent.
