The Westshore Rebels survived a rainy one on Saturday, holding on to 22-20 win as the Kamloops Broncos failed to make a two-point conversion on a touchdown at the end of the game.
The Rebels (2-7) have one game remaining in the B.C. Junior Football conference schedule, in Nanaimo next Saturday (Oct. 5) against the V.I. Raiders (7-2).

Rams puzzle Jugglers, Hyacks exact Island revenge

Grizz take one of four points at home, Royals deke through Rockets
The Victoria Grizzlies made its long awaited 2013 B.C. Hockey League home debut with a 2-2 tie against the Alberni Bulldogs at Bear Mountain Arena on Friday and 4-2 loss to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Saturday.
Grizzlies Jay Mackie and Mitch Meek scored to erase a 2-0 deficit on Friday and Jacob Kearley and Gerry Fitzgerald scored in Saturday’s loss for the Grizzlies.
The Victoria Royals (2-3-0-0) drew themselves one game closer to .500 with a 4-3 shootout win over the Kelowna Rockets in Kelowna on Saturday.
