The Port Alice Men’s Open Golf Tournament had great weather “both days,” said Organizer Russell Murray. “We had 14 guys play, which is down from past years, but good considering the situation here in Port Alice. We had two juniors play and they both represented themselves quite well. They had a fun time playing with their dads.” The tournament wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of the greenskeeper Ron Davidge, and bar staff Gail Bartrim. FP Foods helped with the food.
“All in all, everyone had a lot of fun and we hope to have more people come out for the Donny MacLeod Memorial Fun tournament that takes place Saturday & Sunday (July 30 & 31st)” said Murray.
