While the weather ended up not cooperating this year, Port McNeill’s annual Mud Bowl soccer tournament carried on as usual, with exciting around-the-clock matches all weekend.
With over 15 teams competing in age divisions from U6 to U18, most of the teams were all guaranteed at least four games before the finals.
The results are as follows:
Port Hardy 1 defeated Port McNeill 2 in the finals of the U12 boys division;
Port Hardy 1 defeated Port Hardy 2 in the finals of the U12 girls division;
Alert Bay defeated Port Hardy 1 in the finals of the U15 boys division;
Port Hardy 1 defeated Port Hardy 2 in the finals of the U15 girls division; and
Port Hardy defeated Port McNeill in the finals of the U18 mixed division.
