Connor Sloan and Kurtis Klinger each scored twice as the host Princeton Posse dispatched the North Okanagan Knights 4-2 in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League action Friday night.
Klinger, a California product, netted the winner at 8:18 of the second period, just 77 seconds after his unassisted powerplay goal made it 3-1. He leads the Posse with 15 snipes.
Sloan, who hails from West Kelowna, opened the offence at 13:16 of the first period. D-man Austin Garrington, a Lumby native, equalized nine minutes into the second frame, from Layne Greene and Zach Andrusiak.
Sloan added insurance at 16:61 of the third period. Garrington netted his sixth goal of the season with 32 seconds left, on the powerplay. Thomas Pattison and Jordan Passmore drew assists.
Princeton outshot North Okanagan 34-26 with Bailey Stephens taking the win and Josh Shank suffering the loss.
The Posse took nine of 16 minor penalties. Kelsey Byrne of the Knights and Eden Dubchak were tossed for fighting at 1:13 of the second period.
The Posse improved to 13-10-2-2, good for third place in the Okanagan-Shuswap Division. The Knights are last at 4-24-1-2.
North Okanagan entertains the Summerland Steam today (3 p.m.) at Nor-Val Sports Centre. The Steam shaded the visiting Columbia Valley Rockies 5-4 Friday night.
The Knights visit the Kelowna Chiefs Wednesday.
