While the Oak Bay-based Premier Victoria Mariners baseball players close their regular season on the road, the Premier Victoria Eagles finish regular season with four home games this weekend. Playing out of Lambrick Park, the Eagles host the Okanagan Athletics in a doubleheader Saturday, July 16, when they play at 1:30 and 4 p.m. and on Sunday, July 17, with first pitches at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Similar to their Premier counterparts, the Junior Premier Eagles play their final regular games at their home field, Lambrick this weekend, hosting the JP Okanagan Athletics. Saturday’s games go at 1:30 and 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Finally, the rival Junior Eagles and Mariners end with a bang when they face each other at 6 p.m. at Lambrick Park on Tuesday, July 19.
In WCL action, after returning from the all-star game, the Victoria HarbourCats host the Bellingham Bells in a three-games series at home at the Royal Athletic Park, playing nightly at 6:35 p.m. Friday, July 20 to Sunday, July 22.
In Oak Bay cricket the Oak Bay team heads to Metchosin on Saturday, July 16 for a noon start. Play returns to Oak Bay’s Windsor Park Sunday, July 17, when the University team hosts the Incogs at noon.

In lacrosse, the Victoria Shamrocks look to extend a two-game win streak when they host the Maple Ridge Burrards at the Q Centre tonight, Friday, July 15, at 7:45 p.m. Next Friday takes the ’Rocks on the road to face the Burnaby Lakers.
